1 year agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher A.J. Minter (shoulder) has been activated from the 15-day injured list on Monday. The 29-year-old has been sidelined since early June due to inflammation in his left shoulder. He appears healthy now and ready to rejoin the bullpen ahead of Monday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Before going down, Minter held a 4.91 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, with 50/10 K/BB ratio and 10 saves in 40.3 innings. The Braves will likely ease him back into his high-leverage role in the bullpen. In a corresponding move, right-hander AJ Smith-Shawver has been optioned to Triple-A.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
