A.J. Green Expected To Miss Some Games

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (toe), who is currently in a walking boot, is expected to miss "some games," according to a source. He is scheduled to meet with Dr. Robert Anderson this week to diagnose his foot injury and they will figure out if surgery is needed. The Bengals are on their bye in Week 9, but it's looking increasingly likely that Green will not play in Week 10 and could miss more games, depending on if he needs surgery. Tyler Boyd and Alex Erickson would be the team's top two receivers if Green misses any time. Second-year wideout John Ross remains sidelined with an injury of his own. Tight end C.J. Uzomah would also have a bigger role in the passing game. And the Bengals could need to use running back Giovani Bernard more when he returns from his knee injury.
