Heading into Sunday's Cook Out 400, and even through Stage 1, Toyota appeared to be the dominant manufacturer at Richmond Raceway. Not only did five of their cars qualify in the top 10, but Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace led a combined 161 laps, showing speed that made a third consecutive victory for Toyota seem inevitable. However, as the race unfolded, momentum shifted to the blue ovals, as Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher combined to lead 190 laps, resulting in Buescher's first win of the season.
