8 months agoFree agent center Kai Jones seems to be getting his first chance to get back into the league after being waived from the Charlotte Hornets back in October. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Philadelphia 76ers are planning to sign Jones to a 10-day contract on Friday. Jones was one of the most athletic big men in the league when he was receiving some playing time, but he hasn't been able to get on the court all that much. What has worried teams the most is the way he left the Hornets after a tirade on social media. The Sixers, however, are desperate to get some more help in the front court while they wait for Joel Embiid (knee) to return.
