6 years agoUpdating a previous report, the San Francisco 49ers fear that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) is dealing with an ACL injury after he was carted off in the Week 3 loss to the Chiefs. A torn ACL would be devastating for the Niners and Garoppolo, as it'd end his season. Garoppolo went 20-for-30 for 251 yards and two touchdowns before his injury. The Niners will know more about the extent of his injury on Monday, so stay tuned. If he's out for an extended period of time, C.J. Beathard would take over under center.
