2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers defense faces the high-octane Kansas City Chiefs offense in Week 7. The Chiefs are the No. 1 scoring offense all season long and in the past three game average. They are careful with the football, too, giving the ball away less frequently than all but four teams. This tough matchup is made more difficult because of many injuries on defense. DT Arik Armstead (foot), DE Samsom Ebukam (achilles), S Talanoa Hufanga (concussion), and CB Charvarius Ward (groin) have all missed practices, while CB Jimmie Ward (hand) and DE Nick Bosa (groin) have been limited. This is not the best matchup for the 49ers DST. But the 49ers are one of the highest-scoring DSTs, so fantasy managers should not cut them, and, with all the randomness at DST, it is not worth picking up a second DST unless your league has a very deep bench, so you should probably start the 49ers at DST if you have them.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
