Welcome to the April 7th edition of Daily Slivers of the Fantasy Soapbox.
Discussing baseball is as fun as the game itself. It has a way of bringing people together to share different opinions about the sport we all love. A similar action can be done with fantasy baseball where we not only discuss topics but also look to improve our teams as well as the teams of our fellow fantasy baseball enthusiasts. Everyone has their own perspectives which are not to be cast off as frivolous. They should be used as a method of expanding our own knowledge.
In this article, I review the previous day's boxscores and provide my opinion on a variety of topics. Some will be random, some will be fun, and some will be stat-driven. It's a soapbox so I may rant from time to time as well. So without any further delay, below are my thoughts on the April 6th games. Enjoy them. You can even respond with your own thoughts on Twitter @EllisCan2.

Daily Musings
- Trea Turner finally plays. SB time! NO! 402-ft Krush-Groovin. Body Movin'.
- Mookie Betts loves him some Crystal burger combo meals (one HR, two SB). Go Large!!
- Akil Baddoo is everything we wanted from Randy Arozarena. Basically, immediate success.
- More guys joining the 450 Moving Company**. Byron Buxton (three). Mike Trout (three). Tyler Naquin (two HR, seven RBI). Sam Hilliard (two).
- **How long did it take in 2020 for more than five players to hit HR farther than 450 ft? Remind me again about this deadened ball.
- Nelson Cruz doesn't need NL parks to keep you competitive. 3rd tater.
- Mr. Wilson Ramos proudly wearing the Golden Sombrero. Free tequila shots for you.
- 14 runs! Yes, Nick Castellanos must have.....nevermind.
- Aaron Judge must been irked by yesterday's Smurf comment. So he screams "VOLTRON!" as he crushes the ball 432 ft.
- Scherzer loves to watch the little birdies fly (four HR). Acuna, Freeman, and Swanson all sending fruit baskets.
- Drew Smyly looked marvelous w/ 6 IP, 2 ER, 8 K. Fastball/Curveball. Might want to expand the menu.
- Bundy only blinked twice, but reliability is the word. 6 IP, 2 ER, 10 K.
- If you need cheap speed, Cedric Mullins Motors (one) is the place to go.
- The 6th-hole won't stop Kyle Tucker (three) from his WHAM operations. (Winning Hearts & Minds).
- J.A. Happ was addicted to the four-seamer (67%). (4 IP, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 K). BOS & LAA next.
- Miley is back?! Elite level stuff for free (W, 6 IP, 6 K) **Psst, it was the Pirates.** Stop ruining the fun.
- Rojas w/another SB. No, probably not the one you wanted. Miguel Rojas (two).
- Pfff, who's looking at a .133 AVG? Dylan Carlson, just keep hitting airplanes in the night sky like shooting stars.
- Pete Alonso flexing his power program: Chocolate Milk & Squats.
- Red Sox offense is picking it up...
- Xander Bogaerts sneaky on the basepaths.
- Rafael Devers with a hit. No, he's not a one-hit-wonder; he got a second hit too.
- Christian Vazquez sticking w/red as he chooses Firehouse Subs for his Combo Meal.
- Peralta (W) giveth (four BB) & he taketh away (eight K)
- Omar Narvaez w/second tater. .513 wOBA, but still with an 85 mph exit velo.
- Travis Shaw (1) is back as the Mayor of Ding Dong city.
- Nick Solak brings excitement to the Klepto game (2 SB).
- Top-two RBI guys: Nate Lowe (14; 4% BB, 36% K) & Tyler Naquin (12; 16% BB, 16% K)
- Not to be outdone by Nate Lowe's two-fer; Bo Bichette doubles his enjoyment.
- Don't tease me, Ryan McMahon w/ your once....twice...three times a lady-killers.
- You're gonna get frustrated by Edwin Rios. He has skills (first HR), but lacks playing time.
- Just be patient with Sean Murphy. He's been dealing w/ a few injuries. He's not at his peek skills, yet. (See what I did there? Probably not.)
- Who was worried about Kershaw? 7 IP, 1 ER, 8 K.
- Nobody's complaining about 5.1, 3 ER, 10 K from Giolito.
- Nick Madrigal teams jump for joy with first SB.
