Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to make up for a lackluster start by Framber Valdez against the hopeless Twins last night, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.
It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.
We have seven pitchers going that are rostered in more than 90% of ESPN leagues. Eight more are owned in more than half of leagues. With a double dipper today, that leaves us a little more than half of the pitchers to choose from. We need some wins and K's, right? Who can help us out?

Hitter Streamers for 8/7 - Shallow Leagues
Kyle Farmer (2B/SS/3B, RHB, CIN) - 48.2% Rostered
Matchup: vs. PIT RHP Mitch Keller
Few players on any team worldwide are hitting like Farmer is right now. Farmer has at least one hit in 13 of his last 14 games. He is hitting .492 with three homers, 10 RBI, and 14 runs scored in that span. The Reds have moved him right in front of Joey Votto, who homered in seven straight about a week ago. You can bet Farmer is going to keep getting a ton of pitches to hit in front of Votto as long as he stays hot.
C.J. Cron (1B, RHB, COL) - 43.5% Rostered
Matchup: vs. MIA LHP Jesus Luzardo
Luzardo, the prize of the Starling Marte trade with Oakland, did well enough in his Marlins debut. Coors Field is a horse of a different species, not just color. Cron has become a strong play at home and against lefties. He has six hits in 11 tries with two homers and seven RBI since the team returned home on Tuesday. Both homers, four RBI, and four runs scored came against the Marlins staff last night. Look for more of the same today.
Rafael Ortega (OF, LHB, CHC) - 36.8% Rostered
Matchup: vs. CWS LHP Carlos Rodon
Ortega has at least one hit in eight straight games batting leadoff for the Cubs. He is hitting .454 with four homers, nine RBI, and ten runs scored in that span. This is a tough matchup with Rodon, but the Cubs don't really have an option to platoon him with. This will be a nice little test for Ortega. Considering he extended his hitting streak against Lance Lynn last night, I like his chances.
Amed Rosario (SS/OF, RHB, CLE) - 38.5% Rostered
Matchup: vs. DET LHP Tyler Alexander
Rosario is hitting .370 with a homer, five RBI, five runs scored, and three steals over the last week. Steals are the great white unicorn of fantasy these days. When you have a guy that can hit like Rosario stealing you bags, you take notice. The extra eligibility is just a nice little bonus.
Hitter Streamers for 8/7 - Deeper Leagues
Austin Nola (C, RHB, SD) - 18.5% Rostered
Matchup: vs. ARI RHP Taylor Widener
The Padres have been using Nola sparingly since his return from the IL on July 23. That's how he has quietly put together a six-game hitting streak in which he is hitting .526 with a two runs scored and five RBI. He only has one homer in 71 at-bats this year, but he did hit ten homers in 267 at-bats in 2019. That power should be coming back soon. If not, we still have nice RBI totals and a hot bat to fall back on.
Rowdy Tellez (1B, LHB, MIL) - 13.4% Rostered
Matchup: vs. SF RHP Aaron Sanchez
Rowdy has cooled off a little since his scorching start in a Milwaukee uniform, but not enough to explain this continued low ownership. Rowdy is still hitting .351 with 22 games as a Brewer with five homers and 17 RBI. He is currently riding a modest four-game hitting streak in which he is 5-for-11 with a homer, five RBI, and a run scored. Come on aboard the Rowdy train! There's still plenty of room!
Asdrubal Cabrera (1B/3B, LHB, ARI) - 7.8% Rostered
Matchup: at SD RHP Yu Darvish
This Arizona offense missed Cabrera. He has driven in nine runs in 12 games since his return from the IL. Five of those have come in the last six games, including his only homer since his return. Cabrera is heating up at the right time and will continue to occupy a good RBI spot in the middle of this lineup. I don't always follow BvP, but when I do, it looks like Cabrera against Darvish. He is hitting .375 in 24 at bats against Darvish with two doubles, three homers, and eight RBI.
Yadiel Hernandez (OF, LHB, WAS) - 5.5% Rostered
Matchup: at ATL RHP Charlie Morton
The Nationals made room for Yadiel just before the trade deadline. He has rewarded their faith in him with a nine-game hitting streak in which he is hitting .492 with two homers, seven RBI, and seven runs scored. This park favors left-handed hitters, so I can see the hit streak continuing against a crafty but hittable Charlie Morton.
Pitcher Streamers for 8/7 - Shallow Leagues
Vladimir Gutierrez (RHP, CIN) - 26.9% rostered
Matchup: vs. Pittsburgh
I wouldn't bet the farm on Gutierrez, but aside from getting blown up by the Mets in his first start after the break, Gutierrez has quietly had a good July. In the four other starts since July 1, Gutierrez has only allowed six runs in 25.1 innings with 15 strikeouts. The bad news? All four of those starts were on the road. Gutierrez isn't a strong strikeout bet since the Pirates don't whiff a whole lot to begin with. They also don't score a lot. The Pirates have just one homer and 20 runs in six July games. Gutierrez should be able to help our ratios and get us a win.
Pitcher Streamers for 8/7 - Deeper Leagues
Eli Morgan (RHP, CLE) - 6.4% rostered
Matchup: vs. Detroit
This isn't for the faint of heart either. Morgan has allowed three runs or less in each of his last four starts and still has a 6.75 ERA on the season. That should give you some idea of how his inaugural MLB season has gone thus far. That said, Cal Quantrill dominated the struggling Tigers last night and Morgan's stuff is similar enough to Quantrill's to give us some hope. The thing I'm chasing is the strikeouts. Morgan struck out nine Blue Jays in his last start and has 20 strikeouts in 16 innings over his last three start. That's worth chasing against the Tigers.
