Kadarius Toney Puts In Limited Practice Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney (shoulder) was able to practice on Wednesday in a limited fashion. Darius Slayton, who is returning from the COVID-19 list, was also limited as he ramps his activity back up. Toney, a 22-year-old first-round pick, missed last week's game after suffering a shoulder injury in Week 16, but he has a chance to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Washington Football Team. Toney has shown flashes of being a playmaker that the Giants so desperately need, but injuries have mostly held him back in his first NFL season. He has 39 receptions for 420 yards on 57 targets in 10 games. Toney could have his snaps limited if he plays this weekend, and there will be very little upside for him with quarterback Jake Fromm in line to make just his second career NFL start.
