3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back James Conner was questionable but ultimately active against the Detroit Lions after an ankle injury sustained last week. Fellow running back Chase Edmonds also returned for what should have been an easy win for the NFC West leaders. But the Cardinals were beaten soundly by Detroit, leaving the Arizona running game mostly abandoned in the second half. Conner led the backfield in snaps and had 10 touches compared to Edmonds' six. Though he will cede work to Edmonds, Conner still appears to be the lead back in Arizona. Conner and the Cardinals will look to bounce back next week in a tough matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.--Aaron Knight
