Austin Ekeler Gets In Limited Session Tuesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (ankle) was listed as limited in practice on Tuesday after he was a DNP for Monday's estimated practice report. Ekeler left the Week 14 win over the New York Giants with an ankle injury that the team doesn't consider to be very serious. The 26-year-old should be fine on a short week for a divisional showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, but we will continue to keep a close eye on him. If for some reason Ekeler isn't good to go this week, we'll likely see some combination of Justin Jackson, Joshua Kelley and rookie Larry Rountree III in the backfield for the Bolts, but it'll be impossible to predict which one would see the most touches. Ekeler will be a must-start RB1 if he's active against KC.
