Dalvin Cook Expected To Miss At Least Two Games

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is expected to miss at least the next two games -- this Sunday at the Detroit Lions and the following Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers -- with the hope being that he can return the following week for the Monday night game at the Chicago Bears on Dec. 20, according to a source. Cook suffered a shoulder dislocation and torn left labrum in the Week 12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but he'll avoid Injured Reserve for now. Fantasy managers will be flocking to the waiver wire this week to snag Alexander Mattison, who will take over as the primary running back for the Vikings with Cook sidelined. And with excellent matchups against the winless Lions and Steelers the next two weeks, Mattison will have RB1 upside.
