Miles Sanders Runs For 94 Yards In His Return
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) made his return to the field in Week 11 and ran the ball 16 times for 94 yards. He was targeted just once in the passing game but was unable to make the catch. He did lose a fumble in the game, but he looked good overall, showing no ill effects from the ankle injury that kept him out for the past three games. He averaged a healthy 5.9 yards per carry, but did cede 16 carries to Jordan Howard and Boston Scott. Besides that, quarterback Jalen Hurts led the Eagles with 18 carries, including two goal line touchdowns. Sanders has clear RB1 talent, but the Eagles scheme may keep him from being much more than a middling RB2 most weeks.
