Donovan Peoples-Jones: Pessimism Surrounding Week 11 Status
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones (groin) is far from a lock to play against the Lions on Sunday. Ian Rapoport of NFL.com writes, "[He] has an uphill battle to play today. He has a chance, but not a great one." If Peoples-Jones can't suit up, it would represent another hit to the Cleveland pass-catching corps after Odell Beckham Jr. was released earlier in November. Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Anthony Schwartz, Demetric Felton, the tight ends, and the running backs would all be candidates for a larger workload if Peoples-Jones misses the contest.
