Cardinals Considering Long-Term Approach With Kyler Murray
3 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray's ankle is improving and he hopes to play in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, but the Cardinals want to do what is best for his long-term future, according to a source familiar with the situation. Murray was held out of the Week 9 win over the San Francisco 49ers, and it at least sounds like there's a chance he could miss a second straight game as the Cardinals practice caution with their franchise signal-caller. If it becomes a game-time decision yet again, fantasy managers would once again be in a frustrating position with Arizona playing in the late afternoon this Sunday. Have a backup plan in place and follow Murray's practice status throughout the week. If he misses another game, backup Colt McCoy would make another start in his absence.
