3 years agoAs expected, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley wasn't at the team's practice on Wednesday while he remains away from the team indefinitely due to undisclosed personal reasons. Ridley announced on Sunday that he was stepping away from football indefinitely, which is a huge blow to the Falcons offense and fantasy managers. Since we have no idea how long the 26-year-old will be away, he needs to be stashed in all formats until further notice. Atlanta's offense stalled in his absence in Week 8, with Russell Gage not seeing a single target. Tajae Sharpe led the team with five catches on six targets for 58 yards, but fantasy managers shouldn't count on that continuing, even with Ridley out indefinitely. Rookie tight end Kyle Pitts will see more looks from quarterback Matt Ryan but will also see more attention from opposing defenses.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
