3 years agoDetroit Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during training camp. He went on sit out the entire preseason and he has yet to play during the regular season. However, it sounds as if his debut isn't too far away. In a recent press conference, Pistons general manager Troy Weaver suggested that this Saturday's game against the Orlando Magic could be Cunningham's first game. Weaver said, "Hopefully, we'll get him back sooner than later, but I would anticipate hopefully seeing him when we get back off the road." The Pistons are on a three-game road trip right now. The final game of that trip is on Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The first overall pick will likely be eased into the rotation once he's active.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
