Chargers Sign Dustin Hopkins, Cut Tristan Vizcaino
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers signed free agent kicker Dustin Hopkins to a contract on Tuesday. He was released by the Washington Football Team last week and ultimately landed in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old was 12-for-14 on his field-goal tries and 10-for-12 on extra points through the first six games of this season. Hopkins should see an increase in fantasy value with the Chargers' high-octane offense. Fantasy managers searching for a kicker can add Hopkins off the waiver wire as he should be a solid option for the rest of the year. Kicker Tristan Vizcaino was released in a corresponding move.
