Dawson Knox Expected To Miss Roughly Three Weeks
3 years agoBuffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox (hand) is expected to miss around three weeks after he had surgery to fix a broken hand that he suffered in the Week 6 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday night. Buffalo is on their bye in Week 7, but Knox could miss the following two games after that, depending on how he heals. There was another fracture in his hand that doctors didn't initially see on X-rays. As of now, Knox could miss Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins and Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars before returning in Week 10 against the New York Jets. It's a tough break for the 24-year-old and his fantasy managers, as he was in the midst of a breakout season with five touchdowns in six games. He should be stashed everywhere while he's out. In the meantime, Tommy Sweeney, who caught a TD on Monday night, will be the next man up and could have some streaming appeal in the coming weeks.
