Rashaad Penny Could Have Big Role In Week 7
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (calf) won't have any limitations in Monday's game against the New Orleans Saints. "I'm ready to go," said Penny. "I'm revved up." The 25-year-old was designated to return from the injured reserve on Friday. He has been sidelined since Week 1 with a calf injury. The Seahawks are already without top running back Chris Carson (neck) and could also be missing veteran Alex Collins (groin) in Week 7. Collins was a non-participant for the second straight practice, and his status for Monday Night Football is up in the air. Penny could have an expanded role in Week 7, but injuries have limited the former first-rounder to four games over the past two seasons. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation. Penny, DeeJay Dallas, and Travis Homer will lead Seattle's backfield if Collins is ruled out. Stay tuned.
