Darius Slayton Will Practice Wednesday
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) will return to practice on Wednesday after missing the last three weeks with a hamstring injury. The Giants are hoping that Slayton can return to the fold with both Kenny Golladay (knee) and rookie Kadarius Toney (ankle) looking likely to miss the Week 7 clash against the Carolina Panthers. If Slayton returns this weekend, he could be the second wideout behind Sterling Shepard against a Panthers defense that has allowed 558 receiving yards, four touchdowns and the 12th-most fantasy points per game to receivers in the last three weeks. Slayton could have a larger role if he's active, but it will be hard to trust anyone other than Shepard in this passing attack if Golladay and Toney are ultimately ruled out.
