Kareem Hunt Officially Placed On Injured Reserve

The Cleveland Browns officially placed running back Kareem Hunt (calf) and rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, sidelining both players for at least three games. Hunt's timetable is expected to be four to six weeks, so he could wind up missing more than just three games after injuring his calf in the Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. With Nick Chubb (calf) missing Week 6 and likely to miss Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos, D'Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton are setting up for a committee approach on a short week. Hunt had carved out some nice standalone fantasy value despite sharing touches with Chubb, so he needs to be stashed in all formats. Running back John Kelly was signed to the active roster in a corresponding move.
