Joe Burrow Ready To Play In Week 6
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (throat) practiced in full all week and was removed from the final injury report for Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. Burrow suffered a throat contusion in the Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but it turned out to be nothing serious. There should be no limitations for the second-year signal-caller in a great matchup against the winless Lions this Sunday, and he will have running back Joe Mixon (ankle) operating on a normal workload. The 24-year-old has been a solid QB2 this year with 1,269 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Burrow will have a high ceiling in this matchup, although Cincy probably won't need to air it out to win this game.
