3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday. Dalvin Cook (ankle), who missed the Week 5 win over the Detroit Lions, returned to practice, so he has a chance to play again in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. Mattison has been money for fantasy managers in the two games that Cook has missed in the early going. Most recently last Sunday, the 23-year-old had 25 rushing attempts for 113 yards while catching all seven of his targets for 40 yards and a touchdown. Mattison has had at least 25 carries in the two games without Cook, but he's had 14 combined totes in the three games with Cook active. So basically if Cook returns to the mix, Mattison will be extremely hard to trust.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
