Daz Cameron Homers, Steals A Base In Season Finale
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Daz Cameron ended the year with a bang on Sunday. Facing the Chicago White Sox, he went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run and a stolen base. The 24-year-old has a great profile for fantasy, but he's yet to fully put it together and even earn a full opportunity in the majors. He excelled at Triple-A this year, where he slashed .296/.365/.500 and tallied six home runs and seven stolen bases over just 39 games. In the majors in 2021, he played in 35 games and had a rough slash line (.194/.278/.359), but he did manage to tally six stolen bases and four home runs. He's someone worth keeping an eye on next spring. If he earns a starting role with the team, he could be a great source of stolen bases with some power to boot.
