3 years agoSan Francisco Giants' first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He injured his knee making a diving play in the outfield in Wednesday's contest. The 27-year-old's injury isn't believed to be severe and is considered day-to-day. His next chance to return will be Friday against the San Diego Padres. Wilmer Flores is batting seventh and will handle first base duties while Wade is sidelined. Flores can be used as a streamer against Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner after hitting .287 with six home runs and 19 RBI over 146 plate appearances against southpaws in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
