Josh Jacobs Back At Practice Thursday
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) was back at practice on Thursday after missing the last two games with an ankle injury. Jacobs looked to be going at full speed on Thursday during drills, so he's on track to return for a Monday night showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4. In his absence the last two games, Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber have split the backfield work, with Drake being used in the passing game and Barber being the preferred early down and goal-line ball-carrier. Jacobs had only four more carries than Drake in the season opener and just two targets in the passing game, though, so it's understandable to be wary of Jacobs if he returns from a two-game absence.
