Darrel Williams Gains 39 Yards In Week 3

Kansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams saw a season-high nine touches in the team's 30-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3. He rushed seven times for 28 yards and caught two of his three targets for 11 yards. He had only rushed four times in the team's first two games of the year and he hadn't received a single target in those two games. Williams' snap percentage went up from 27% in Week 2 to 34% in Week 3, while the team's No. 1 back Clyde Edwards-Helaire saw his snap percentage drop slightly from 65% in Week 2 to 62% in Week 3. CEH and Williams are the only Chiefs running backs who have received carries this year, so Williams is a very clear handcuff. However, there's no need to roster Williams in standard leagues unless CEH goes down.
