Quenton Nelson Suffers Sprained Ankle In Week 3
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts offensive guard Quenton Nelson (ankle) suffered a sprained ankle in the Week 3 loss to the Tennessee Titans, and he will be evaluated this week. Nelson is believed to have a high ankle sprain, which would likely put him out of action for at least several weeks. The 25-year-old also had foot surgery last August, but he made it back for the start of the regular season. Nelson has made the Pro Bowl and has been named a first-team All-Pro in each of his first three seasons, so this is a significant loss for the Colts offensive line, their running game and for quarterback Carson Wentz, who played in Week 3 on two bum ankles.
