Corey Kluber Fails To Make It To Fifth Inning
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Corey Kluber didn't have his best stuff in Wednesday's no-decision against the Rangers. Kluber pitched just 4 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on a whopping eight hits. The veteran did exhibit solid control, striking out four batters with no walks issued. Most of Kluber's hits were allowed on two-strike counts, a frustrating occurrence for both him and his fantasy managers. However, Kluber's stuff appears to be there- he simply needs to locate better in those specific scenarios. He'll get a tough matchup in a big game against the Blue Jays his next time out, though he could be worth going back to, as he's no stranger to pitching in big games.
