Dylan Carlson Included In Wednesday's Lineup
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson is starting in right field and batting fifth in Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He was lifted in the seventh inning of Tuesday's game and there was speculation that he had suffered an injury in the game. He grimaced and showed signs of pain after striking out right before his removal. Cardinals manager Mike Shildt told reporters after Tuesday's game that the removal was a double switch and he wouldn't comment on a potential injury, leading beat writers to speculate - which is always a dangerous thing. Carlson has had a decent year overall, slashing .257/.334/.414 with 15 home runs, 59 RBI and 72 runs.
