3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Trey Mancini is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. This will be his third time on the bench over the last five games. Wednesday's game is at a national league park so the Orioles don't have a designated hitter spot, though Mancini did play first base in Tuesday's game. The 29-year-old has been dealing with an ongoing oblique injury lately and the team is being cautious with him, which is understandable given their 48-103 record. Mancini's inconsistent playing time could continue going forward, which makes him a drop candidate in shallow leagues and weekly lock leagues.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
