3 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham has had a rough time at the plate so far in September. Over 11 games this month, he's slashing just .140/.156/.233 with 15 strikeouts over 43 at-bats. The 24-year-old began the year as a mainstay at the top of the Padres lineup, but he's been getting some starts in the bottom third of the lineup over the past few months. In Wednesday's game, he batted eighth and went 0-for-4, though he had an RBI and he scored a run. Over 115 games on the year, Grisham is slashing .238/.324/.407 with 14 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 55 RBI and 53 runs. He should be held onto in all deep leagues and NL-only leagues, but in shallow leagues, he can be dropped for a hot bat on the waiver wire.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
