Austin Meadows Blasts Solo Homer On Monday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Monday's 8-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He accounted for the entire Rays offense with a solo shot off Blue Jays pitchers Trevor Richards in the ninth inning. The 25-year-old has had mixed results in September, hitting .200 (6-for-30) with three home runs, six RBI, five runs, and seven strikeouts over eight games. Fantasy managers should continue to start the Rays outfielder in all league formats. Overall, Meadows is slashing .232/.314/.456 with 25 home runs, 99 RBI, 74 runs, and three stolen bases across 545 plate appearances in 2021.
