Robert Woods Salvages Week 1 With A Score
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods didn't have the best game in Week 1, but he was able to save his day late against the Chicago Bears with a score. Woods caught three of his four targets for 27 yards and a touchdown that capped off a 12-play, 70-yard drive by the offense that lasted six minutes and 44 seconds, their longest drive in terms of plays and time. He also added one carry for seven yards. Woods was third on the team in targets behind Cooper Kupp and tight end Tyler Higbee. His targets will likely even out over the course of the year, and he should end up as one or two on the team in targets by the end of the season. Due to the power of the offense, Woods should be a strong WR2 play every week.
