Breshad Perriman A Healthy Scratch In Week 1
3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Breshad Perriman will be a healthy inactive for the Sunday night game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. Perriman is clearly buried on the team's receiver depth chart after being claimed off waivers before the season. Allen Robinson II and Darnell Mooney will be the top two receivers, but they're facing an excellent secondary and defense overall in the Rams. Marquise Goodwin, Damiere Byrd and Nsimba Webster will fight for targets behind Robinson and Mooney, but there might not be much to go around. Perriman, 28, is big and physical, but aside from a solid season in Tampa in 2019, he hasn't done much in five NFL seasons. Perriman is obviously off the fantasy radar for the time being.
