Miguel Sano Blasts 25th Homer
3 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Wednesday's victory over Cleveland. Sano gave the Twins a much-needed insurance run in the seventh inning, belting a mammoth, 449-foot homer that registered a 112.1 MPH exit velocity. The slugger has just four hits in September so far, though two of them have been homers. Sano ranks in the 94th-percentile or better in exit velocity, barrel rate, and hard-hit rate, giving him power upside down the stretch- as long as managers can surround him with batters who hit for average or don't strike out a lot.
