Washington Releases Temarrick Hemingway

The Washington Football Team has released tight end Temarrick Hemingway. The 28-year-old had his moments throughout camp, but a concussion and a tough start to the preseason caused him to get jumped on the depth chart. In 21 career games, Hemingway has caught just one pass for 10 yards. So, even if he is added to a team that lacks depth at the tight end position, he can be disregarded in all fantasy formats. Sammis Reyes, John Bates, and Ricky Seals-Jones will continue to battle for the backup role behind starter Logan Thomas. Whoever wins the job could have some fantasy appeal in deeper leagues if Thomas were to miss some time. Still, there could be a lot more attractive options if this were to be the case.
