Kris Bryant Slugs 23rd Homer on Wednesday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman/outfielder Kris Bryant went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored during a 3-2 win over the New York Mets on Wednesday. The 29-year-old took Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker deep during the fifth inning for his 23rd HR of the season. The four-time All-Star is hitting .273/.325/.532 with five homers, 11 RBI, three stolen bases, and 13 runs scored across 77 at-bats with the Giants. Bryant remains a rock-solid option the rest of the season, and his multi-position eligibility adds a bit more value to the former NL MVP.
