3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (head) was scratched from the lineup on Saturday against the Cubs, according to Lynn Worthy of the Kansas City Star. Perez had exited Friday's game after experiencing a headache from being hit on the head by a foul ball. It appears the headache came back to some extent, causing him to be scratched Saturday. Cam Gallagher now enters the lineup at catcher and is batting eighth in the order. Consider Perez day-to-day for now and keep an eye out for further updates on his condition later today.--Michael
