Eno Benjamin Could Move Up On The Running Back Depth Chart
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Eno Benjamin shined in the team's preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys. The 5-foot-9, 207-pound running back took advantage of the opportunity given to him against the Cowboys, with five carries for 50 yards and a touchdown. Jonathan Ward also saw action, but suffered an ankle injury. Currently, Benjamin is fourth on the Cardinals depth chart, behind Chase Edmonds, James Conner, and Ito Smith. However, if the second-year back continues his strong performance, he could jump ahead of Smith before the regular season begins. The 22-year-old has a lot of potential, which could propel him to third on the running back depth chart. The Cardinals have two more preseason games -- Chiefs on August 16th and Saints on August 28th -- for Benjamin to impress the coaching staff.
