Luis Severino Scratched From Rehab Start
3 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder, groin) was scratched from his scheduled rehab start Friday. Severino was warming up before what was likely his final rehab outing for Triple-A Scranton, though he "didn't feel right" and ultimately didn't pitch. Severino will return to New York to be evaluated, which will delay his return to the majors slightly. RailRiders manager Doug Davis said he didn't think the setback was anything too serious- though it's understandably a bit concerning, considering this isn't the first roadblock he's had during his rehab. There should be another update soon from the Yankees regarding Severino's status.
