3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Ty Montgomery (undisclosed) was carted off of the practice field on Wednesday. The team hasn't released and specifics on the injury, but it likely isn't anything minor since a cart was required. The team is currently bludgeoned at the wide receiver position. Michael Thomas (ankle) is out for an extended period and his future with the team is in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Tre'Quan Smith (leg) is also injured, but at least he seems to be nearing a return. Montgomery was slated to be the team's No. 3 receiver this year behind Thomas and Smith.
