3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (knee) experienced pain in his knee after scoring in the ninth during Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He "felt something in his knee" and will be evaluated on Friday, per Nationals manager Dave Martinez. The 22-year-old went 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, and three runs scored during Thursday's loss. Soto didn't exit the game, as the injury happened during the ninth inning. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day.
