Ryan Yarbrough Yields Five Runs In No-Decision
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough allowed five runs on four hits and one walk while striking out four across five innings during Saturday's 9-5 win over the Red Sox. He did not factor into the decision. The southpaw was hurt by the long ball and served up a pair of two two-run homers to Xander Bogaerts and Bobby Dalbec. He threw 84 pitches, landing 60 for strikes. Yarbrough owns a 4.58 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 94:21 K: BB across 114 innings in 2021. He's surrendering a career-worst 1.4 HR/9 this season. Yarbrough will look for better results in his next start, Friday on the road against the Orioles.
