3 years agoSan Francisco Giants' first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (leg) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He exited Tuesday's game early with a right lower leg contusion. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day. It's terrible timing for Wade, who was locked in at the plate, hitting a robust .318 (7-for-22) with three homers, six RBI, and one stolen base over his last five games. Darin Ruf is batting sixth and will handle first base duties while Wade is sidelined. Ruf is not a recommended streamer against Dodgers ace Walker Buehler and is a desperation play only in deep-league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
