Daniel Lynch To Start Sunday's Game Against Tigers
3 years agoKansas City Royals rookie pitcher Daniel Lynch will get another shot in the rotation this weekend. Royals manager Mike Matheny has named Lynch as the team's starter for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Lynch made his MLB debut back in May and was dreadful over three starts before being sent back to Triple-A. Over his three starts, he pitched just eight innings and allowed a total of 14 earned runs. He's struggled at Triple-A this year as well with a 5.84 ERA and 1.61 WHIP over 12 games. He's one of the team's top pitching prospect so fantasy managers in dynasty leagues should remain patient, but he can be completely avoided in all redraft leagues for now.
