Mookie Betts Remains Sidelined Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Colorado Rockies. Betts left last Saturday's game with a hip injury and hasn't been in the starting lineup since. He's still considered day-to-day, but with each passing day he's not in there, the chances of him needing a stint on the injured list goes up. It's a shame, too, since Betts has been hot in July, going 20-for-54 (.370) with four home runs and 11 RBI in 60 plate appearances. Hopefully, he can avoid a trip to the injured list and pick things up after a disappointing first half. Billy McKinney is in right field and batting second on Friday against Rockies right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez. McKinney has a double in three at-bats with the Blue since being claimed off waivers from the Mets. He'll be a low-cost sleeper in DFS in the two-hole against one of the most hittable starters in baseball.
