Miami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte had been slumping badly before the All-Star Break, but got off to a strong start to the second half. In Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader, Marte went 1-for-3 with a single. He was just warming up for Game 2 though, where he went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI. He hit a two-run home run in the first inning and added two doubles later on. The strong pair of games lifted Marte to a .283 batting average and an .833 OPS.
