John Means To Make Another Rehab Start Friday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher John Means (shoulder) began his minor league rehab assignment with a two-inning outing for High-A Aberdeen on July 3 and is scheduled to make two more rehab outings, with the next one coming on Friday, July 9, at Double-A Bowie. The talented left-hander should be back at the top of Baltimore's rotation after the All-Star break, and his fantasy managers will be thrilled to get him back into their rotations as well. The 28-year-old southpaw was excellent before his left shoulder strain, going 4-2 with a fabulous 2.28 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 8.7 K/9 in 71 innings over his 12 starts. Barring any setbacks, he should only need two more minor league rehab outings before being ready to return.
